David's Fiction Prompts is a weekly challenge for writers, providing a word or words to inspire a work of flashfiction. All genres of fiction are accepted. Please no hate speech or porn (though erotic themes are acceptable.)
So far the plan is to give a word or words, and the options are: to do a 100-word drabble, using one word for inspiration; or a 1000-word story, using all the provided words for inspiration.
To be clear: you don't have to actually include the word itself in the story. You don't even have to use the most common meaning, when there are multiple meanings. I'll try to choose words that leave the writer with multiple options. Leave a short description and a link to your post (the post specifically, not to the main blog page) in the comments section of each week's challenge post.
